Understanding the needs of individual members within community organisations, as well as the group as a whole can help develop a more meaningful and mutually beneficial partnership and partnership idea to deliver benefit.
Support in skills development, for example with a focus on employability, or a skills assessment to map the skills the community brings to the partnership. This is part of asset based community development. Support could be to provide opportunities to socialise or volunteer and much more.
Community partnerships, community organisations and the individual members within are different – exploring how you and the museum can support them is part of the dialogue; and vice versa.
