Community partnerships can be long-term or short-term. But they will all, at some point come to an end.
Evaluating the project may be a requirement of funding, can help your museum and the community organisation identify what worked and what could be improved, provides clarity of successes and a foundation for celebration.
Both these phases should all have been built into the project plan and partnership agreement.
